Employment Agreement Review

​INITIAL REVIEW - $350 for "Residents/Fellows" / $550 for "Established Doctors"
  • (1) Draft "Employment Agreement" review 
    • A line-by-line review of the proposed contract/employment agreement with review document.
    • Assistance in formulating a response to the job offer, including questions you should ask.
  • (2) Telephone conference consultation to discuss the contract, negotiating strategies, and any questions you may have, 60-minutes.
  • (3) As needed, follow-up email to telephone consultation highlighting what was discussed with contract edit / notations, and any further questions.
  • (4) "Contract Review Advice, Hints, and Tips" document (created by Dr. Hood at PodiatryContractReview)
SECONDARY REVIEW - $100 for "Residents/Fellows" / $150 for "Established Doctors"
  • (1) Draft "Employment Agreement - revision" review
    • This would include a review of the Primary Employment Agreement contracts revision, if required/desired.
  • (2) Telephone conference consultation to discuss the updates and any final questions, 30-minutes.

  • NOTE = These services Initial/Secondary are for the same "Employment Agreement." Any NEW "Employment Agreement" contract reviewed would re-set the fee schedule.

Cover Letter / Curriculum Vitae Review

  • Overall review of the CV and/or Cover Letter
    • Edits in Microsoft Word/Track Changes.
    • Comments and suggestions on how to improve the document.
  • Telephone conference consultation to discuss the resume and/or cover letter any questions you may have, 30-minute maximum (as needed or requested).
    • ​This time can be split between a pre- and post- review telephone conference to (pre-call) understand your background and goals in the job search, reviewing the questionnaire, and (post-call) review the recommendations and changes suggested (as needed or requested).​

Pricing:

$75 per item (Curriculum Vitae OR Cover Letter)

$125 for both (Curriculum Vitae & Cover Letter)


Other Works Performed:

Medical-Legal
    Dr. Hood offers services in the medical-legal discipline consisting of items such as narrative report case reviews, independent medical examinations (IME), hired deposition work, and expert-witness testimony. Please email for more information and rates/fees for these provided services.
Podiatric Medical Lecturing
     Dr. Hood has experiencing lecturing at multiple podiatric conferences including the APMA National, ACFAS ASC, Present Podiatry Res-Ed, Goldfarb Clinical Conference (PaPMA), and Indiana Podiatric Medical Association over the past few years. He has a list of available lecture topics already completed or can create a lecture to tailor the needs of the requesting party.
    Interests in topics trend towards  practice management and young physician (student/resident/new practitioner) education with topics as found throughout this website.
     Please email for more information as he would enjoy the opportunity to speak at your next conference or to your residency program, in-person or virtual.
